WEEK 3 STUDIO TIME

After the voting time, we met as a group in class and discussed the outcome of the voting.

We were all quite sold on our "Post-it note confession wall."
Straight away we started to plot out how it could potentially be set out, the materials we might need or could use to physically construct the booths and just the overall stall.

When we met with Kerry-Ann though, she encouraged us to push the idea.
Where have there been rituals or other methods that are similar to our idea of a confession and letting go in the world?

Some other questions Kerry Ann asked us were:

  • What can people bring in, or take away?
  • How, or can technology be integrated into our stall?
  • How long do we want these 'confessions' to last?
Been told to brainstorm, and generate another 50 ideas - keeping the essence of the idea, but pushing it, and thinking broader.

Just a few pics from our workbook notes from the studio time.

Voting Results

Our results from the 'A3 poster voting' exercise proved the 'post-it note confessions wall' was the more popular concept. Following a team review discussion, our talk with Kerry Ann has encouraged us to look into broad precedants within our chosen interactive concept. Technologies and other possible avenues will be discussed in our next team meeting, on Monday.

Team Meeting

Today we had our first team meeting. We discussed stall ideas that we had come up with and collaboratively chose the two best ideas to present to the market place. We created the two a3 pages to visually pitch our ideas to the class on wednesday. Overall the meeting went really well and we got the work all finished in good time.
