The construction of the washing line required a bit of forethought and planning. During a team meeting we came to the conclusion the best way to construct out washing line structure so it could be free standing (to go in the great hall) would be to set the wooden frame into a concrete base.
After figuring out some technical specifications for the wooden frame and deciding what height would be best suited for people it didn't take us long to get to work.
The process of constructing the washing line involved cutting the wood into the appropriate lengths; screwing the two components together; drilling the holes for the line to go through; and finally setting the posts into their concrete bases.
